In December’s issue of Alternative Press.  I’ve highlighted my favorites.  For the most part, I agree with this list, but wish they would’ve had more variety in the artists.

    I am with you this is an ok list but the artist are real redundant, also does that publication not cover hip hop?

    No, they don’t. It’s just alternative music. I agree that it’s quite redundant.

    No 30 Seconds to Mars is disappointing, I would have thought The Kill to have been rather high on the list. Sweetness at #3 is amazing, Helena at #8 is nice. However, I haven’t heard of about half of these songs (or artists for that matter). :P It’s a decent list though.

    I was gonna give you guys shit for not mentioning Refused in Your list until I realized Shape of Punk Came out in 98… Damn. I feel Old Right Now…

    I would’ve replaced “That’s What You Get” by Paramore with “Decode.” Also, no Thrice? I think “I’m Not Okay” by MCR should be on the list. Also “Bat Country” by A7X.
